Signature Rock
El Morrow, New Mexico. Until it's watering hole was passed by the railroads in the 1880s, Signature Rock at El Morro served as an important stopping point in the Acoma Zuni section of the American Southwest. The many inscriptions carved into the Rock's sandstone walls date from prehistoric, Spanish, Mexican andTerritorial periods of the area's history.
